Here is a masterlistof all of the characters’ shirt symbols in good resolution
For all of the symbols, especially kids and godteirs, I highly reccommend this wonderful tutorial. I haven’t used it yet, but I deffenatly plan on it! You can also stencil shirts with freezer paper, such as this tutorial directs.
For the godteir shirts I made, I used this tutorial. Then I hand embroidered boarders around the edges of the symbols.
For the trolls, I printed out the symbols from the MSPA wiki. You can also find better resolution symbols of all of the characters on this masterlist. I prefer my symbols bigger than the ones on Topatoco, so I make sure to select the print option that resizes them to fit the full page. Then I traced the symbols onto stencil paper (pallet paper or wax paper works too) and cut them out. I taped the stencil to the shirts with masking tape and painted over the stencil with acrylic paint.
If you’re painting on black for the trolls, then just use acrylic. If you’re painting on a lighter shirt, than I mix a heat-setting fabric painting medium with the acrylic paint. Golden acrylic makes it.
You can also buy iron-on transfer paper at Hobby Lobby or Micheal’s and print out the symbols on them, then Iron them on. This is probably the easiest and most widely used method, but I still like to paint them because I have more control then.
